The Great American Bake Sale is a campaign to end childhood hunger in America. But it requires mass participation to work.

baker girl Every blogger helps reach more people and creates greater awareness of the fact that 1 in 6 children in America are at risk of hunger. This is unacceptable and together we can end this. But we rely heavily on word of mouth, so we need your help.

How You Can Promote

There are several ways you can promote the Great American Bake Sale:

  • Post on Your Blog
    The simplest, most effective way to spread the word is by posting about your participation on your blog! Members of your audience who see it will do the same and the campaign reaches the widest audience possible.
  • Post a ChipIn widget on Your Site
    If you want to post a widget on your site, ChipIn is a fast and easy way to do this. Go to the ChipIn site and use bakesale@strength.org for the donation email.
  • Add a Banner to Your Site
    We have badges, banners and graphics in our Resource Center that you can use to let visitors to your site know about your participation. Copy and paste the code into your site and you'll be helping spread the word quickly.
